The Playdia was a colorful Japan-only console made by Bandai which, much like the CD-i and 3DO, was marketed as a multimedia machine instead of a dedicated gaming console, and because of this most of it's library consists of edutainment. Since it received zero third party support, it was a inevitable failure, though almost all of it's titles are licensed from popular anime such as Dragon Ball.
