The BBC Micro is a series of computers produced by Acorn for BBC's Computer Literacy Project, from 1981 to 1994. It was extremely popular in the British classrooms, but high cost and fierce competition kept it from being a successful home computer. This led Acorn to create its more affordable "cousin", the Electron.

The Sentinel | Puzzle | You are a synthoid, that is a robot, and you must take control of a surreal 3D terrain by reaching its highest point and taking down the Sentinel and its Sentries. But wait, you can't move around freely. Did I mention you are a telepathic robot? You can generate a synthoid shell and transfer your conscience into it. But that takes energy, so you have to absorb the objects scattered around. This was quite popular and widely ported at the time, but remains a very unique sort of game.
